Add Tally form responses to your email list

Connect a Tally form to a ConvertNow list. Everyone who submits it, and says they want your emails, is added as they respond. No code and no export.

The ConvertNow Tally integration adds people who submit your Tally form to a ConvertNow list the moment they respond. Each form gets its own secret address, and every delivery is signed so only Tally can add contacts.

It suits signup forms, quizzes, waitlists and lead forms built in Tally.

Step by step

Six steps, about five minutes.

1

Open the Tally card

In ConvertNow, open Integrations in the sidebar and choose Tally.

2

Connect a form

Give the connection a name, choose the list respondents join, and decide whether to add only people who tick a consent checkbox on the form. Create the list under Contacts first if you do not have one.

3

Copy the address and secret

Click Connect. ConvertNow shows an endpoint URL and a signing secret. Copy both.

4

Add a webhook in Tally

In Tally, open your form, go to Integrations, then Webhooks, and connect a webhook.

5

Paste both values

Paste the endpoint URL, turn on signing and paste the secret as the signing secret. Without the secret, ConvertNow rejects the responses.

6

Send a test response

Submit your form once. The connection in ConvertNow shows the first response arriving.

What ConvertNow does, and does not do

A short, exact list, so you know what happens to your contacts' details.

Adds respondents the moment they submit

Reads the email field and picks up first and last names from fields labelled like "First name", "Last name" or "Your name"

With consent on, adds only people who tick a consent checkbox such as "Send me updates"

Adds a person only when they have opted in, never anyone who has not

Never re-subscribes someone who has unsubscribed or bounced

Puts each person on the list you choose

Gives every connection its own secret address

Frequently asked questions

Does my form need an email field?

Yes. Without an Email field there is nothing to add, and the response is ignored.

What if I turn on the consent option and the form has no consent checkbox?

Nobody is added. Add a checkbox labelled like "Send me updates" or "I agree to receive emails".

What if someone has unsubscribed before?

A form response never re-subscribes them. Only the person can opt back in.

Can I connect several forms?

Yes. Each form gets its own connection, address and secret, and can feed a different list.
