What your AI assistant can do in ConvertNow
Once connected, an assistant can use more than 20 ConvertNow tools. They fall into five groups.
Write emails
Build a campaign draft from a description, from copy you paste, or from a web page address, using your saved logo and brand colours. Add images from your content library or from a link.
Create and edit campaigns
Create a campaign from your own HTML, start one from a template, and update the subject, preview text or content of a draft.
Manage contacts and lists
Search contacts, add a contact, import a batch of contacts who have agreed to receive email, create lists and add contacts to them.
Check results
Report on one campaign's deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes, or on account-wide performance over a period.
Send
Send a test email to yourself, then send or schedule a campaign to a list after you have reviewed a summary and said yes.
Every email the assistant writes is saved as a draft first. Nothing reaches your subscribers until you approve it.

How to connect your AI assistant to ConvertNow

Copy your ConvertNow address
Open Build with AI in your ConvertNow account and copy the connection address shown there.
Add it to your assistant
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Paste the address and save. Other assistants that support remote MCP servers, such as ChatGPT, have a similar place for custom connectors, and some need developer features switched on first.
Sign in and approve
Your assistant sends you to ConvertNow to sign in and choose what it may do. After approving, ask it for what you need.

Is it safe? How ConvertNow keeps you in control
An AI assistant connected to ConvertNow cannot send a campaign without your explicit confirmation. Sending is a two-step process: the assistant first asks ConvertNow to check the campaign and produce a summary of the subject, the recipients, the number of people and the send time, and it must show you that summary. It can only send by presenting a one-time confirmation code from that check, which expires after 15 minutes.

What is an MCP server for email marketing?
An MCP server for email marketing is a connection that lets an AI assistant use an email platform's features, such as writing campaigns, managing lists and reading results, on your behalf. ConvertNow's MCP server does this for your ConvertNow account, and you approve what the assistant may do.
Can Claude send emails through ConvertNow?
Yes. Once Claude is connected to ConvertNow, it can write a campaign, send you a test, and send or schedule it to a list. Before any real send, Claude must show you a summary of the subject, recipients and send time, and ConvertNow only sends after you confirm.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
ConvertNow's connection follows the open MCP standard with OAuth, so it works with assistants that can add a custom remote MCP server. ChatGPT supports custom connectors, though availability depends on your plan and settings.
Can the AI send emails without my approval?
No. A campaign cannot be sent without a one-time confirmation code that is only issued after the assistant checks the campaign, and it expires after 15 minutes. You also choose whether to grant the send permission at all.
What can I ask the assistant to do?
You can ask it to write an email from a description, pasted copy or a web page, build a campaign from a template, add images from your library, create lists and add contacts, send yourself a test, review how a campaign performed, and send a campaign when you are ready.
Is my subscriber data shared with the AI company?
The assistant can read what you let it read, such as contacts, lists and results, and that information passes through the assistant you chose, so it is handled under that assistant's own privacy terms. Grant only the permissions you need, and disconnect when you are done.
How much does it cost?
Connecting an assistant to ConvertNow does not add a separate fee. Emails the assistant writes with ConvertNow's AI builder use your monthly free AI emails first, then your credit balance.
How do I stop an assistant from accessing my account?
Open Build with AI in ConvertNow, find the assistant under Connected AI apps, and choose Disconnect. Its access ends immediately.
