WooCommerce sends each new order to ConvertNow through a signed webhook. ConvertNow reads the email, the name and your checkbox, and nothing else about the order.
Step by step
Six steps, about fifteen minutes.
Add a marketing checkbox
Add a checkbox to your checkout with a checkout-fields plugin or your theme, and note the field's name, for example marketing_optin.
Connect your store
In ConvertNow, open Integrations and choose WooCommerce. Name the connection, choose the list customers join, enter the checkbox field name and click Connect.
Copy the address and secret
ConvertNow shows a delivery URL and a secret. Copy both.
Add the webhook in WooCommerce
In WordPress, open WooCommerce, then Settings, then Advanced, then Webhooks, and choose Add webhook.
Set it up
Set the topic to Order created, paste the URL as the Delivery URL and the secret as the Secret, and save with the status Active.
Place a test order
Order with the checkbox ticked. The connection in ConvertNow shows the first customer arriving.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a plugin for the checkbox?
WooCommerce has no marketing checkbox built in, so you need a checkout-fields plugin or a small piece of theme code. ConvertNow only needs the field's name.
Can I add every customer without a checkbox?
No, and we do not offer it. Having a customer's email for an order is not permission to send marketing.
What if the buyer does not tick the box?
They are not added, and nothing is sent to them.
What about orders placed before I connected?
Only new orders after the webhook is active are added.
