Add Jotform submissions to your email list

Connect a Jotform form to a ConvertNow list. Everyone who submits it, and says they want your emails, is added as they respond.

Start freeSee the steps

The ConvertNow Jotform integration adds people who submit your Jotform form to a ConvertNow list as they respond. Each form gets its own secret address.

Jotform cannot sign its requests, so that address is the only credential. Keep it private, and remove the connection in ConvertNow if it ever leaks.

Step by step

Six steps, about five minutes.

1

Open the Jotform card

In ConvertNow, open Integrations in the sidebar and choose Jotform.

2

Connect a form

Give the connection a name, choose the list respondents join, and decide whether to add only people who tick a consent checkbox on the form.

3

Copy the WebHook URL

Click Connect and copy the WebHook URL ConvertNow shows.

4

Add the webhook in Jotform

In Jotform, open your form, go to Settings, then Integrations, and choose WebHooks.

5

Paste the address

Paste the URL as the WebHook URL and click Complete Integration.

6

Send a test submission

Submit your form once. The connection in ConvertNow shows the first submission arriving.

What ConvertNow does, and does not do

A short, exact list, so you know what happens to your contacts' details.

Adds respondents as they submit

Reads the email field and picks up names from a name field or fields labelled like "First name" and "Last name"

With consent on, adds only people who tick a consent checkbox such as "I agree to receive emails"

Cannot verify a signature, because Jotform does not send one, so the secret address protects the connection

Never re-subscribes someone who has unsubscribed or bounced

Puts each person on the list you choose

Gives every connection its own secret address

Frequently asked questions

Is the Jotform connection as secure as the others?

It relies on the secret address alone, because Jotform does not sign its requests. The address is long and random, and removing the connection stops it working at once.

Does my form need an email field?

Yes. Without one there is nothing to add.

What does the consent option check?

A checkbox whose label reads like "Send me updates", "Subscribe" or "I agree to receive emails". If it is not ticked, the person is not added.

What if someone has unsubscribed before?

A form submission never re-subscribes them.
