Stripe sends each completed checkout to ConvertNow through a signed webhook. ConvertNow reads the customer's email, their name and their consent, and never sees or stores card details.
Step by step
Six steps, about ten minutes.
Add the endpoint in Stripe
In Stripe, open Developers, then Webhooks, and choose Add endpoint.
Connect in ConvertNow
In ConvertNow, open Integrations and choose Stripe. Name the connection, choose the list customers join and click Connect. Copy the endpoint URL ConvertNow shows.
Paste the URL and pick the event
Paste the URL into Stripe as the endpoint URL and select the event checkout.session.completed.
Save the signing secret
Stripe shows a signing secret starting with whsec_. Paste it into ConvertNow and click Save. Until you do, ConvertNow rejects every event.
Turn on consent collection
In your Checkout Session or Payment Link, turn on consent collection for promotional emails so the checkbox appears.
Send a test purchase
Complete a test checkout and tick the box. The connection in ConvertNow shows the first customer arriving.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work with Payment Links?
Yes, as long as consent collection for promotional emails is switched on for the link.
What if customers do not see a consent box?
Then nobody is added. Check that consent collection is turned on for the Checkout Session or Payment Link.
Is the signing secret stored safely?
Yes. It is stored encrypted and never shown again after you save it.
Which Stripe events are used?
Only checkout.session.completed. Everything else Stripe sends is ignored.
